Welcome to the internet home of the Guernsey Film Makers Club.

Most of our meetings are held on the second Monday at 8pm at Les Capelles Community Centre where we usually welcome a visiting judge to look at our competition.  There is usually time over coffee to discuss the various techniques and methods involved in producing good quality movies as well as techniques involved in editing.

The Queen’s Diamond  Jubilee

The Club will be filming all the local events celebrating the Diamond Jubilee, including the visit of HRH Prince Charles.  A DVD will be produced to be sold for charity and club funds.  Anyone filming a local event can put the footage on a DVD and send it in.  All footage used will be acknowledged and that person will get honarary membership of Guernsey Filmmakers to the end of 2012.
